I struggled.
Some of the people I looked up to, who meant so much to me, had failed. They had broken trust; not just mine but those of many others who also held them in high esteem.
And so I struggled.
Now I look back, and I wonder: Why was it so hard? Didn’t I realise that man is fallible?
But wait o: The fact that someone’s integrity failed doesn’t mean I have to suffer the blahs and be all down about it. No na! I’m not your victim. I am not a victim!
I guess one of the biggest mistakes I made was to focus on the bad that happened. Yes, bad happens, but life is not all doom and gloom.

Henceforth, I’m walking forward, focusing on the rising sun as my path shines brighter and brighter. There’s good in this life, and I’m fighting for it.
