I remember

Burning candle in a brown glass jar on a wooden surface
I remember your radiant light.

I remember her! Her superpower was the ability to put people at ease. She was ever willing to help and would always come to the table with ideas on how to make things work or make them better. Yeah, I used to call her an “ideas person”.

I remember her as a friend and a sister, as a fun colleague at work, choir, and the studio. I know many people can say the same thing, but in my family, her name is engraved in our history books; people from both sides of the family remember her fondly for her beautiful singing at our wedding.

I remember her jokes; and there were quite a few of them.

We had a joke back in our days working together at the office that the Holy Spirit has a sense of humour. Well, I imagine her in paradise, laughing with such exuberance and so much joy as God shares His hilarious jokes with her.

That happy face with smiling eyes is one I will always remember.

Cheers, beautiful sister! And Happy Birthday!
