I once heard a friend refer to David as a “bush boy” since he was out in the wilderness taking care of sheep. That’s quite an apt description and highlights something significant: you can succeed irrespective of the circumstances surrounding you when you’re starting anything. As BNG put it:

Always remember that it doesn’t matter where you are when you start (or restart); what matters is that you stay strong, keep your head up, and keep at it.
